The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science (AIDS) was established in the academic year 2022–23. It is affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune University and is recognized by AICTE and DTE.

Our main aim is to provide students with in-depth knowledge and practical skills in the fields of AI, machine learning, data analytics, and computing technologies. The program is application-oriented and prepares students for careers in the IT industry. Students are trained in advanced programming, mathematics, and real-world data science tools.

Our dedicated faculty focuses on skill development, strong industry placements, and encourages students to explore research opportunities.

Under the leadership of our Principal, Dr. Somnath G. Kolgiri, the department organizes seminars, workshops, and conferences as part of the Quality Improvement Program (QIP). The department is equipped with modern classrooms and high-performance laboratories featuring the latest systems, licensed software, LCD projectors, and backup power support to ensure uninterrupted learning.

Welcome to the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science at PGMOZE, COE, Wagholi, Pune. The department was established in 2022 with an intake of 90 students. We are proud to have a team of well-qualified, experienced, and enthusiastic faculty members dedicated to student growth.
