Gandhi Jayanti Celebrations

Visit to Koyana DAM

First year students visited the Koyna DAM on 25/11/2019. The students visited Koyna Hydroelectric Project and Dam. Approximately 40 students visited the Koyna Project. Prof.Aniket Gandhi and Hod. Tanmay Hon APS guide and gave various knowledge about the Koyna Project. The Koyna Dam is one of the largest dams in Maharashtra, India. It is a rubble-concrete dam constructed on Koyna River which rises in Mahabaleshwar, a hillstation in Sahyadri ranges. It is located in Koyna Nagar, Satara district, nestled in the Western Ghats on the state highway between Chiplun and Karad.The Koyna Dam is one of the largest dams in Maharashtra, India.
